A solid selection for a weekend adventure in West Lulworth, great for the money. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially to our dog. Try to get a room away from the main road for a quieter experience.

We had a lovely time exploring the stunning Jurassic coastline, with the inn serving as a perfect base. Our teens enjoyed the beautiful walks to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, and the food here was simply delicious, breakfast was the highlight!
My kids wished there were more activities for teenagers like a game room or outdoor games.

Weekend getaway bliss
We had such a lovely time! The room was super comfy, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. Dinner was exquisite—really loved the monkfish! Staff were all friendly and chatty, making it feel so cozy. Only thing is, it got a bit busy in the evening, so reservations are a must!

Lovely pub vibes with great food
Spent a night here with my partner and absolutely loved it! The pub’s got a chill vibe and the outdoor seating is perfect for sunny days. The mussels were huge and super tasty, and the team was really friendly too. Just wish the bar area was a bit bigger. it gets a bit cramped at peak times.

The grilled meats were a highlight, turning our meals into worthy stories. Big shoutout to the staff, especially Kate, for making us feel right at home! The cozy bar had us lingering a bit longer than expected.
We were puzzled by a menu lacking local seafood delights, only offering the usual beer-battered cod. And let's not even start on the specials that featured hotdogs! They could do so much better with evening options.

The location for exploring the Jurassic Coast is perfect. Breakfast was impressive with many options, and the chef's skill in preparing meals stood out.
Some aspects of service could be more attentive.

We had a lovely time with really tasty breakfasts and a comfortable bed that made our stay enjoyable. The garden area had some nice spots to relax, like hammock seating and a cozy fire pit for the evening. Just a heads-up, a few more dog-free dining areas could be a great addition for those who prefer a quieter meal. 😊
